dunno....nvr try all of 'em. i use ABC. dl speed is up to ur conection and how ur software manipulate the connection.

well here they use Azureus a java BT client... since i havent tried it out yet, i dont know if its any good

remember to TURN OFF UR SYSTEM RESTORE before attempting to repair the selected files...or u'll end up like me. i forgot to turn it off and those ad-and spyware multiplied twice as much. <that is why ur got multiple msgs from me  fitty. turning on view hidden files and turning off the hide protected operating system files is not compulsary- to me, but it will increase ur chance of success. there are tips in using these at http://www.mytechsupport.ca/

I remember being infected with A VX Virus, it was cleaned by Adaware in two to three scans

be careful though, some spywares need special tools to be cleaned properly... for example the CoolWebSearch spyware, it has its own tool for it to be cleaned (just managed to clean a friend's comp infected with this, but still not thoroughly clean too)

and a word of warning about HijackThis, dont know it were posted before... but DO NOT attempt to clean without an expert looking at your log first... go to nouru's given website, post the log there, and wait for answers...

Ano ... anyone can help with this!? my PC kena quite a lot of it -cry- and those 'SPYWARE REMOVER' all have to order and then pay one! does anyone knows of any spyware removal program where i can download it for free and remove it for free!?

i have been using Spybot and Ad-Aware for quite some time, and this two are  a good combo...
to further protect your comp i suggest using SpywareGuard and SpywareBlaster...  these two will protect your comp from spyware even before they entered your comp...

go to avi & mutimedia thread. theres a dl link there. if u r using ad-aware, activate ad-watch function(availability depends on ur ad-aware edition, mine ad-aware6, not personal SE). it will notify u if any prog tries to write or re-write new scripts on ur pc. but be warn that it may automatically close ur IE window if u configure it wrongly...if u have prob with spyware that is invincible to these anti spy & adware progs, use hijackthis prog (the link is also in the thread above), save a logfile and go to http://www.mytechsupport.ca. they will help u, but u must register first.

dont use adaware6, i think they have stopped the updates for it i think... use SE instead...
for ad-watch you will need to pay though...
Microsoft AntiSpyware got a real-time protection, plus you can analyze your ActiveX, Startup programs and also your running processes... but since it is Beta, i didnt use it yet

Though i really dont know what i'm doing.
All i know my pc RAM performance were back to normal.

Always be careful of what sites you visit and what links you click on. Just don't buta-buta click-click on anything with nice pictures.

Also remember to update your antispyware software regularly.

ad-aware-->basically, it detects and removes/quaretine ad/spyware. easy to use

hijack this--> this one is a bit tricky. it is used to see and change ur scripts (what progs are currently running, files that autorun on startup) for ppl that know their pc inside out, it nothing much. with a little know-what, know-why and know-how u can tweak the scripts, stopping the ad/spyware from activating. for more help go to http://www.mytechsupport.ca. those guys are good with this.

oh soo that is why i got different results when i use them both.
when i use the adware it shows a lot of pograms but i only delete which i
find doesnt involve anyhting with the pc initial programming.
Any how abt the mytechsupport. Its in language which i cant understand.

i use avast (either home or pro)....
pretty good... even if u go to massive spyware or virus content website... still can't penerate it... auto update either virus database or program... but make sure always online and keep the volumn of ur speaker low....
