This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Macross series and to celebrate (milk cash cow) they are doing a new series called Macross Frontier...

... which seems a plot rehash of Macross and Macross 7.

But it's pretty with nice visuals and all Cheesy   And those VF-25s are sure nice.

And the singer is already a million times less annoying than Minmei...

Only problem I see with the show: School kids.  The world needs a lot fewer emokid pilots :O

saw the 1st ep....the cgi visuals are quite nice, one of the better ones
ive seen in any anime, and it blends in properly as well.

emo-wise....hehe, can't say much...

i actually haven't watched any of the macross series, seeing they are hard to get

i knew about macross because i played SRW alpha 3 (pcsx2  Tongue)

Too emo. I want straight forward, emotionally stable pilots for once.

As of episode four, this show is still made of win. And yet I must be the only person watching it.

Who else can be responsible for such golden classics in anime-pop?

""kyuun kyuun  kyuun kyuun watashi no kare wa PAIROTTO"

I like Ranka's version better, like 1,000,000 times better Cheesy

Also, fullsized Zentraedi pedobait :O

As of episode 20, Frontier has become the bestest mostest awesomest show I've seen these past year or two. And knowing how hard is it for me to like stuff, this means a lot.

I'm up to ep 13 and as of now, this show stands a strong chance to be my no. 1 of 2008. This series proves that the Macross franchise is still alive.

The action sequences were a little too hard to follow for me... Especially the high speed frantic battles... -_-

And singing as some sort of a "tiebreaker" in a war? hmm......

But overall, relatively nice watch. Wink
