I used to go to many anime conventions in US. And it was very normal to have stacks of hentai/yaoi/yuri doujinshi everywhere. The busiests booths were the ones selling yaoi doujinshi. You would have hordes of screaming yaoi fangirls jostling to buy the latest yaoi doujinshi for their favorite bishies.

As for myself, I didn't buy too much but I did buy some nice Noir yuri doujinshi.

i can understand my name and xell's there but... DD and Shock!? yaoi!? *faint* or are you trying to hint something here, aoi? LOL

Oh well there are shounen-ai stuffs... no yaoi it's fine. I dun like doujin anyway... i mean sometimes, some doujin art are so distorted that it spoilt the image of the manga/ anime involved. Others even worse, twist the original character's personality into a totally different one (meaning if you know the manga & character well enough, you can expect the character to behave in certain way...). So for yaoi manga, i dun read the doujin. I prefer originals from yaoi mangaka ...

However, sometimes when they sell just pix/ key chain etc of my 2 fav characters posing together/ hugging etc (plus the art is acceptable), i won't hesitate to buy

I was there this morning. I liked the booth with the anime figures.
I was however disappointed that there was no proper schedule and when I asked the desk they didn't seem to have an idea of what kind of schedule would be run. I finished walking around in 5 minutes and not having anything to buy or do, I left.
