Thursday, February 17, 2005 - Cartoon Network today announced several major acquisitions for their venerable Toonami action-animation block. Fan-favorite "Naruto" will join the block in the third quarter of 2005, while "One Piece" will move to Toonami in May. Toonami original IGPX will expand into a full series from Production IG. "The Batman" will see a Toonami airing beginning April 2, ShoPro acquisition "Zatch Bell" will start in March, and nosehair-fighting anime "Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo" is coming in the fourth quarter.

Wednesday, February 16, 2005 - hoPro Entertainment, Inc. which recently announced it’s upcoming merger with VIZ, LLC to form one of the entertainment industry's most innovative, comprehensive manga and animation licensing and publishing companies, announced today that it has secured from worldwide licensors, TV TOKYO Corporation and Shueisha Inc., the television, home video and merchandising rights to Naruto for North America and Latin America. The appointment of ShoPro Entertainment as Master Licensor was facilitated by TV TOKYO Medianet, the licensing arm of TV TOKYO.

ShoPro Entertainment, the San Francisco based affiliate of ShoPro Japan, plans to introduce a dynamic roll-out strategy that will leverage the strong manga and entertainment brand into a broad licensing and marketing program. Naruto’s television broadcast partner and key licensing partners will be determined shortly.

"We are ecstatic about Naruto! It is a great privilege to be bringing such an outstanding property to the Americas," said John Easum, Senior Vice President of ShoPro Entertainment. "Naruto became an explosive hit in Japan after it was first launched in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1999 and it continues to be an enormous success. Naruto has also established a very large American fan base through the US manga series published by VIZ. We anticipate a huge success."

An update about the licensing of Naruto, yes it is real if you haven't figured out by now. ANBU has stopped subbing it, animesuke has removed all their torrent trackers, but never fear both AonE and Dattebayo will continue to sub the Naruto series. Atleast for the time being

yeah... just a matter of finding the site that would host the tracker, like baka-updates for example... the net and the irc is vast, too vast for me sometimes

This is from Animesuki.com...........

Quote
n Cartoon Network's Upfront presentation for 2005 Naruto was announced to air in the third quarter ( more info: Press release ).
As AnimeSuki does not list licensed anime, this means Naruto is permanently removed from the site. Please do not contact us about this decision - it's final. If you have any questions, please check out the Naruto section on the AnimeSuki forum

So you won't find torrent for Naruto there.............
Recommend you to use irc...........

Fansub for,,,,,,,,,,,,,  Aone and dattebayo fansub............

Yeah, I am one of the few people who has no love for Naruto or I rather call it juvenile stupor inducing moronic anime.

What is so great about this DBZ clone?

Don't worry, there will still be people fansubbing this series and there still will be rogue torrent trackers abound on the internet.

(Re)'Tards will be (re)'tards.
