haha yeah, can't imagine how happy and impatient we were when we saw the beach! we were unsure whether putting our bags on the beach then all jumping into the water without someone overlooking the bag would be a smart thing to do or not (since there's camera, hp etc etc). a fren said, "It's fine... this is Australia! No one would steal our stuffs... it's not Malaysia!" then another friend replied, "Hey but don't forget that there's Malaysians here too!!!" Hahahahaha true dane!

but that was yesterday's joke ...

oh yea, i havent mention the bad exp we had last night. some drunkard entered my friend's flat (while we were playing Uno, and there's like, 7 of us). Since we gathered at his living room and it's exceptionally hot this week, we left the sliding door opened for air circulation (which caused the tragedy @@). he entered, a gaijin (foreigner, Caucasian) nonetheless, holding a cup of orange juice (so called... my fren said it's definitely mixed with alcohol and i have to agree). he kept shouting at us, "You Malay!? Malay? Are you Malay!?" and started pointing to us one-by-one with the same question. my friend answered, "No, we're Chinese, from Malaysia." and he said, "Oh, Malays huh? from Malaysia? I have been there! It's unbelievable you know, a third world country we're talking about... with the what--twin tower or whatever--yeah, i have been there. rubbish you know..."and he kept blabbering. none of us spoke, except the one of the guy in our group who merely said, "yeah, I see..." etc so that he wasn't offended whatsoever.

he left soon after, when one the girls in the flat said she'd report him. he left and we thought he won't be back. but several minutes later (yes, we forgot to shut the sliding door!) he returned, with the same question, "You Malay? Are all of you Malay?" and blabbering the same thing... Then he asked to sit with us and we dared not refuse. When none of us spoke, he was like, "What's the matter? You not talking to me?" and my friend said that we'd all want to concentrate on the game and he continued with his blabbering. when none answered, he got offended, got up and started cursing, "F*cking Malaysian! etc etc etc" and the first thing we do was: LOCK THE SLIDING DOOR AND MAIN DOOR + CLOSE THE CURTAIN (of sliding door). Though it was damn hot inside, we'd not want him to return... sigh, so scary...

as for today, we went shopping for clothes as Harbor Town (since one of them said he got no money, we decided to go Wildlife Park next week). then we went to the Cottesloe beach around 5pm like that. we got down the train and promised to meet the guys at the beach (we 4 girls go shopping, and the 3 guys had a hangover... whatnot with drinking till 5am!). So we (girls) thought we'd change first b4 contacting the guys (and asking where they are... the beach is huge, with lots of people sunbathing and having picnic. in the changing room, my friend left her bag in the changing area and went to the bathroom. the rest went to bathroom too, leaving their bag on the bench. i was at another corner, with my bag, changing. when she got out, her bag's missing. there's $100++ with M'sian IC (luckily passport not there). we searched and asked everywhere for the culprit and all, but can't find (of course). they suspected a blonde girl they saw in the beginning ... and i suspected three teenage girl sitting near her bag. Anyhow, after about half an hour, we finally saw the 3 guys walking on the beach (by random luck, seriously), called them and informed them about it. well the only thing we could do is do a police report which we took the train to Fremantle and search for the police station. Not only it's hard to find, many locals have no idea where it is too (unbelievable... what peaceful life). About 6++ evening at city also, most of the shops already closed @@ we were shocked to find the police station closed.................not! we thought it was closed, but thank god finally found something that operates 24 hours besides the 7-11.

made police report, then head back to somewhere near uni. Finally have a chance to experience a proper dinner (chinese restaurant, those where we have a round table and the restaurant is somewhat like a the place where Chinese people usually held their wedding dinner, in a word, more high class one) since arrival. rice, and 4 dishes... it was well worth the price and very satisfactory ^____________^ someday might return again.

Anyway, in a word, it's been pure bad luck these days (sigh).

DD>> yeah, it was my first time in life to see such a blue and beautiful beach.

heh??? can't recognize me without glasses!? do i look that different??? i juz forgot to put them on coz i dun wear them when i play with the water hehe... but too bad unfortunate stuffs happened today. Perhaps another time when we're free, we'd go again ^^;
