anyone played any good ones?, among the best i've played are battle moon wars, fatal/fake, blood over and gadget trial. you do not necessarily need understand japanese to play them, even tho some games do have fan translations, as well as original english versions

Why not try SCWU (Short for Super Cosplay War Ultra)?
Its a 1 or 2 player 2D fighting game, although more battle modes are available for solo playing.

I find it fun and wacky. Grin

Its available on free download.

I don't have many else. So that's the one I enjoy the most. Grin

Another one I like is the Eternal Fighter Zero series. Started of as a doujin game if I'm not mistaken. Huh

for more doujin games, go to http://www.simulationstyle.com, alotta games for direct download (their own server not free file host)

among those i recommend are
fate sword dance (fate stay night fighting game)
fatal fake (3d fate stay night fighting game)
blood over (shooting game)
chantelise (fantasy rpg)
gunners heart (3d plane game) ,
duo princess (fantasy rpg)
and melty blood (fighting game with characters from works by type-moon, like fate stay night, tsukihime, etc)

if you want to try battle moon wars (which is similar to super robot wars and has characters from works by type-moon too) go to my beta site, http://ngames.ej.am/, which has it on filefront

What is doujin games  Huh
Dōjin soft, 同人ソフト short for "software", also sometimes called dōjin games 同人ゲ−ム, are video games created by Japanese hobbyists or hobbyist groups (referred to as circles), more for fun than for profit; essentially, the Japanese equivalent of fangames. Most of them are based on pre-existing material, but some are entirely original creations. They are almost always exclusive to the PC, but a few notable exceptions also exist for the Dreamcast, because of its very weak copy protection. Roll Eyes

You could just rip sprites out of existing games and then make a parody of it.

Tell me when and how you passed the train stage.  I could never get through that one.  Always out of papers & Yumiko sucks at jumping.

been doing that, but certain characters not included in the existing game, but got in the manga/anime, that i want to include in the game

edit: man that train level sure is hard, ive been trying all night, but i could not pass it

edit2: okay i finished the game already, the two levels after the train level were easier than the train level

Erm... I'm trying to get the ROD game to run on my desktop but I always get a terminating error when I run the .exe file...

I tried going by their instructions (Using 'applocale') and my own methods (switching the non-unicode format or something similar) with no success....

Help..?

a screenshot of the error would help, but you could try getting the latest update first.
Code:
http://egs.cug.net/circle/epa_up103.lzh

just copy the extracted files to the directory of the game and run the update program

meanwhile, you guyz should really try hinokakera, a super cool 3d original fighting game with awesome graphics and breathtaking moves.
