Streamyx has been so bad at my place for the past few weeks that I've pretty much left behind in my anime downloads...
It disconnects/unable to connect/has ultra slow connections frequently...
If you ask me I say it's a breach of agreement.... After all, I signed up for unlimited access...

HTTP download & video streaming hasn't improved much even since they capped p2p.

I think for DD case is the Dslam overload.
internet shaping will not disconnect user but will only reduce the speed base on the rules set.

I just found out that my jaring flite gets nearly flawless speed after midnight.  A torrent I'm downloading at average 50kBps (connected to 6 international peers. My setting is max 8 connections per torrent) while the same moment the HTTP & streaming is between 50~110kBps.  Must be less users this time around.  Anyway, the speed is not bad for a wireless.

Meh, Malaysian's broadband has never been good, just be glad that you're not stuck with 56k, which is much worse.

If you're on a network housing 25 PCs and all the 25 PCs are occupied, the one thing you'll get is 15 minutes to open your email. Wow! I don't know I've been waiting for that long to log in into my e-mails! Or is it of the crap network?

no wonder. I've been waiting for 45 minutes already, attempting to attach a 5mb file in my e-mail. and it's not done yet.

I'm really SICK of our ISP. Go back to sektor pertanian LAH. Cicakman will save your jagung.
