hmm i'm not really sure why it's cheaper... i guess it could b due to either supplier or shipping difference that makes Kino's stuff more expensive. I think not only their manga's are priced more higher than other bookstores, even their books too.
however, i was able to order a book through Kino which I couldn't get from MPH.... apparently, tat book's banned for god-knows-wat-for n MPH's supplier couldn't get that book while Kino's one is able to.

Don't really know why but I rather buy manga there than at Kino.
Plus, you can get many manga that Kino don't sell at Borders.
I saw that they sell NHK Youkoso! at Borders and not at Kino. Sad
Borders is manga haven in Malaysia...

The thing is once a manga volume sells out, Kino does not always replenish the stock immediately. I bough NHK in Kino but after I had bought it, they didn't replenish the stock. Anyhow, Borders is havng a sale right now and so is Kino.

it depends on the titles. for example i brought strawberry mashimaro vol 1 at border for rm34.90 while vol 2 at kino for rm34.07.

currently i prefer kino as i still have 2 cards for 20% discount till 8th jan 07. the good thing about border is free browsing.
