Now that I've actually watched it, I can actually comment on it.
It's a pretty good monster-hunter type movie, I don't quite understand why people are complaining about it. It did what it set out to do and it did it reasonably well.
For those who haven't even read Hellblazer, you are even less qualified to comment about Constantine.
It reminds me of another movie about angels and demons called "The Prophecy" where the Archangel Gabriel is up to no good and the good guys have to trick Lucifer into going against Gabriel. Starring Viggo Mortensen as the Devil himself.
Back to Constantine, I will point out that Rachel Weisz is as yummy as ever. h.h
