Just wondering - what bus companies for long-distance travel(for example: KL to Penang, KL to JB, etc.) do you folks normally use? I've tried many but I've yet to find one that satisfies me. Recommendations?

My outstation friends at TARC usually take Transnational.
But they do have their share of horror stories for it.

Transnasional. I and my fellow schoolmates regularly go with this company on holidays. So far so good, I am grateful nothing happened. (Hope that nothing will be keep happening after this, heh).

Don't quite remember cause left TARC some time ago...

Anyway, 1 that I remember was that there was once my friend was left out cold when he was trying to go back to Penang. The people in charge there told him his bus wasn't there yet at the time of departure, and when he came back 10 minutes later they told him the bus left on time...

Gunung Raya...my coursemates and i always take that bus to and from KL and penang...its relatively newer than the other buses...more comfortable, cleaner and safer (i think cause its still new)...they have executive seats, with 2 and 1 single seats...so far so good...haven' heard any weird stories...
