Adapted from the popular Video Game, this movie had somewhat gained attention... but i couldn't possibly understand why it was banned in Malaysia since it's just a horror movie. answer, anyone? a friend of mine said that perhaps because there are some elements related to the Muslim religion... but all i found out after watching it (mind you, there's always ways to get/ watch movies you couldn't normally find in the cinemas especially when they are banned :twisted: and sure, you and i knew the answer). i was forced to the 2nd alternative because i couldn't hold my excitement (turned into movie) and disappointment (at the ban).

http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/silenthill/i gotta say the story's pretty good and yes, they do have some disturbing elements. its mostly about witches though and a tragedy that happened 30 years back... i would say its worth a watch and i find it interesting. Mysteries, horror... and it makes you curious all the time. and well, the killings were rather gruesome for some people i believe :evil: but nonetheless that is what makes it interesting.
give it a shot if you can ^__________^ and if you're a horror/ thriller movie-seeker! you can try using the 'alternative' i did OR get to Singapore cinema to watch it =___= sigh
