Watched the second episode. It seems catered for a certain... demographic. Still it's enjoyable if I don't ponder the horrible implications.
Are killer maids the fashionable thing for everyone to do this season?
I have this fear that they used up their entire animation budget on the first two episodes...

mm... free flow of bullets and blood... Wonder how does the investigator keep herself from becoming obese. lol maybe cause maids are to serve their masters. Then again, why no killer butlers?

3 Episodes down and <SPOILER> one of the 12 sisters dead. <SPOILER> That earns big points in my book. Bullets and Blood still fying along with a funky church scene??? I was expecting doves to start flying all over the place in a John Woo tribute scene.
As to catering to a certain demographic, I think it's more accurate to say that they are trying to cater to as many demographics as they possibly can. And if this studio is trying to make a splash in this way, then more power to them is what I say! As long as I'm getting a steady supply of top-notch Animes , then I'm a happy otaku.
It's quite a ride and I'm enjoying it so far!
Edit: Reduced visibility of spoiler. (Tiny just wasn't enough) Edit2: Colour too!

Your spoiler text is still way too big.
Either way, it is inevitable. I have yet to watch episode 3. So let's hope they do not throw away the novelty of the 12 Sisters rather than exploit them into neato boss fights.

Just a quick way to do a show of force, but not a way to dispose of a character that's supposed to strike fear into the enemy. Maybe they think they have too many sisters on their hands. (Well, they do have 12.. I mean, they DID when they started) But I won't be surprised if she gets "ressurected". They're cyborgs to begin with, right? Maybe the processor / A.I construct got fried so she doesn't retain her previous personality...Otherwise, it's been a nice action series.

This forum needs spoiler tags. :/ ANyway, at 26 episodes it would amount to one dead doll every 2.6 episodes. (Yes, Oct., Nov., and Dis. count as one character )

man what Ep.5-6. Conveniently placed ejector seats. Battleship-proof taxicabs. I can believe the impossible but not the implausible. This series is starting to give me a sense of wasted effort. Other than the killer maids, everyone else seems lame. And the 12 Sisters work as a concept only due to their inherent wrongness.

I just finished this series. When I first watched the 1st episode, I was pretty sure that this would be one of the best anime of the year. Unfortunately from episode 2, it started to go downhill. Instead of focusing on the 12 hot sisters, we have to spend our time gazing at some fat old guy. Actually seriously though, the main reason it went downhill was that when there was no action, the show was very dull. I don't mind drama and character interactions but there was too much time featured on Bishop, Katana and Swamp and these three were really dull. And by the end of the series, we barely got any character development on the 12 sisters.
