Well, if fate has it, then so be it.

Look at Homer's Illiad that inspired Troy. It is so memorable because mortality is a close companion to the story. Characters die like fly in his narration and it is remembered for thousands of years until now.

Sometimes some of us meant to die, some of us don't. Same goes even for fictional characters. Why some anime(s} is so memorable? Because the cast has their mortality, and it is beautiful when it is there. They have their highs, even the gods will envy it because we humans is so doomed as Achilles say it. Every moment we have is beautiful and it could end because of it.

If there is no death, then how we can ever appreciate life? Human beings needs to be reminded all the time since they have short memory.

If you watch "My Hime", all the people in there should need to died.
