I normally rely on anidb.net, and they do mention the guy turns into a girl for battle.
Anyway, finished Angel Beats.
The first few eps were nice and funny, but towards the end suffered from the same problem as Key's earlier VN - anime adapatations -> Too many characters, too little episodes.
So you don't really have time to really "bond" with the characters before they leave the "world" since there's only 13 episodes. Just like how the 24 eps Kanon remake compares to the 12 eps original.
Overall, still a nice comedic anime to me. (well, was a Key fanboy to begin with so...)
lol i couldn't remember XD i just know that the summary sounded good (and boy-turn-girl is not!) and the images were cool so I downloaded it. baaaah felt so cheated >___<
actually.............. *shock will condemn me if I say this* I find zetsubou sensei quite boring >___< idk, I watched the first 3 epi and i was like, "huh?" and maybe 'coz i wasn't in the mood i suppose? only got on to 3nd epi and off it T^T
i have to say, Hetalia is even worse! God, I don't even know what's happening! After every 1-2 minutes of jumping from one scene to another, every 5-10 minutes there's the opening theme!!! all of a sudden out of nowhere of the story, there goes the ending song!!! such a confusing anime! I stopped watching after 2 epi (at least I believe it's 2 epi @@ don't even know). gooooodness, im horrified that I don't understand a single thing that's happening in Hetalia @@
