With its' unique title, one should know this would be a great anime.

The story starts off with the main character who has lost his memory, waking up at a stranger's house. Confused, the man found himself wearing a mask that can't be taken off (The Mask anime version?)

You would later be introduced to a few characters and all of them have neko mimi (cat ears) and a tail. Their world reminds me of Juuni Kokki or Twelve Kingdoms since the setting look like somewhere in China and there are mystical beasts to add.

I'm a person who like historical wars like Romance of the 3 Kingdoms, so i find stories like Juuni Kokki and Houshin Engi quite interesting. From the opening, i would guess Utawarerumono would involve wars as well.

Thus, i highly recommend this anime to everyone and i expect this to be at the top 10 anime of year 2006.

Tsk tsk tsk, the females ears are more towards inumimi (dog ears). 1st episode kinda slow but i kinda like the settings of the anime. The animation quality is really good, only lose to Suzuharu. Yes, i also would predict this anime to be top 10 among spring 2006 releases.

BTW, Ururu is totemo kawaii <3.

Ahh.... good anime...
I just love it for many reasons... the opening enough to catch my attention... besides, isn't Eruruu the cutest girl you ever seen??
I'm a great fan of Eruruu and the main reason why I like her is perhaps due to her facial impression as well as seiyuu who voice My favorite Sango From Inuyasha.

I just started watching this and I'm liking this the more I see. I'm up to ep 14 and it's quite amusing to see Hakuour build up his harem.

Its a nice anime made me wanna play the game too too bad I dun understand japanese, Id ganbate to lean japanese and play the game.

Just finished this. Eh? The sudden change of tone in the last 6 episodes wasn't exactly to my liking. Would have prefered them to focus on harem hijinks.
