Your Top Ten manga!!!

Oooooh, now this section is already "Anime & Manga Talk!". Now to be the 1st one to open topic about manga.

So, list up your top ten manga. Pls only top 10, not top 20 or top 100. Additional information why you like it is welcomed but try to keep short, not making an essay of it.

To begin, my top 10 (not in any particular order):

1) Rurouni Kenshin - It's Kenshin, the real Kenshin. Enuff said.

2) Flame Of Recca - 300% better, no 500% better than the anime.

3)  Mint Na Bokura- I love all Wataru Yoshizumi manga. This is my fav from her.

4)  Imadoki- - I love all Yuu Watase manga. This is my fav from her.

5) Time Stranger Kyoko- - I love all Arina Tanemura manga. This is my fav from her.

6)  Fruits Basket - - No comment here. Others FB fans can explain why it's top 10.

7)  Kareshi Kanojyo No Jijyo- - Simply love it.

8)  Kodomo No Omocha- - I love all Miho Obana manga. This is my fav from her.

9)  Yuu Yuu Hakusho- - One of my Malay comic title that i keep re-reading once in a while.

10)  Slam Dunk- - The other Malay comic title that i keep re-reading once in a while (usually back-to-back with Yuu Yuu Hakusho)


Heh, 6 shoujo titles, 3 shonen fighting titles & 1 sport title. Hehe. Damn can't make it 100% shoujo titles.

1. Maison Ikkoku - I identify and sympathize with the lads. There's also the outstanding ending.
2. Mahoromatic - One of the most heart-pounding endings.
3. High School Girls - Very funny
4. Negima
5. Sgt. Frog (Keroro Gunso)
6. Azumanga Daioh
7. Love Roma - I love how the main couple gets together in the beginning instead of having the audience wait 100 chapters of that to happen.
8. City Hunter
9. Zodiac P.I.
10. Caravan Kidd/Urusei Yatsura (tie)

1. Rurouni Kenshin - this one will always remain my no.1 fave for many reasons!

(but these are not in order)
2. Eyesheild 21 - Unique set of characters and strategies
3. Naruto - although i dislike the concept but i love how the fight.
4. Bleach - undescribably unique but i don't like the Soul Society idea ^^;;
5. Yakitake! Japan - makes you crave for bread. Very educational.
ARMS - also because of the awesome fighting strategies.
6. Magic Knight Rayearth - CLAMP's artwork is very beautiful here.
7. Death Note - Full of geniuses...
8. Pretty Face - Crazy+funny
9. Shaman King - interesting~
10. Full Metal Alchemist - Also very unique...

Hmmmm.... there are only 2 Manga that got me chasing from the beginning to the end or latest chapter.

1) I's - this is my favourite manga of all time, awesome and touching story, romance and extremely detailed drawing. I love this manga. >.<
2) Naruto - Very creative fighting scenes, nice story and very cool and unique characters.

There is another one that I liked, but stopped half way:
3) Deathnote - Very original story, cool characters, but I lost interest and stopped reading after L... Ah, I won't spoil it, when the first part of the books ended, thats it. :p

- Arcana >> This manga is so funny and spooky in the sometime
- Air Gear >> Cool manga * thumb up *
- Bleach >> My Favorite ^_^ * 2 thumbs up*
- Naruto >> The story plot is to long! >_<
-Yakitate Japan >>  100% comedy
- XXX Holic >> like the way how this series and Tsubasa Chronicle linked to each other.
- Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle >> Like the drawing.
- Ichigo 100% >> Too Ecchi!
- GTO >> No your average teacher

I don't really have favorite manga's but I especially like funny manga's like School Rumble, Crayon Shin-chan & Strawberry Shake.

I usually pick up any manga and doujins that interest me. So no fav manga

i dun really read mangga, but i will read if fren pass it to me (full set)

But still for me, Futari Ecchi is one of the special mangga ever made.

the mangga, "It not a porn/sex mangga but it's a sex education mangga"

Which i found out  true, with all the fact and survey in the mangga makes me laugh  :lol:

I haven't read any new manga so here's my old list.

1. Great Teacher Onizuka - comedy and action.
2. Love Hina - ecchi, comedy and romance
3. Parfait Tic - comedy and romance (highly recommended to those who like romance titles)
4. School Rumble - comedy and romance
5. Mahou Sensei Negima - another Ken Akamatsu's work aside from Love Hina so you can probably guess the genre.
6. Death Note - detective
7. Rurouni Kenshin - action
8. Gantz - horror and action
9. Samurai Deeper Kyo - action
10. Bleach - action

ah i have a mass collection of manga from all genres... so i followed while others were abndoned in the process ^^;;

Basically these are the Top 10 ones that i collect (not in order though):

1. Ouran Koukou Host Club
2. One Piece (there's 50 books ady ^^ my proud collection!)
3. Gokuraku Seishun Hockey Club (comedy-romance but not typical shoujo)
4. D.Gray-Man
5. Death Note
6. Bleach
7. xxx Holic
8. School Rumble
9. Death Note (pick up with it after several vol. of discontinuation)
10.  Full Metal Alchemist

Basically there are others like Fruits Basket, PM kurogane and ... forgot, but its the new season's PM, Gohou Drug, Saiyuki Reload, Araiso Private High, Parfait Tic! etc etc ...

There are some that'd finished like Hikaru no Go and Tantei Gakuen Q ... and discontinued ones like SD Kyo, Naruto, GetBackers etc... they just somehow didn't catch my interest anymore ^^;;
