okay, my fren from Mass Com is organising a Cosplay event in our college~ i somehow got involved in helping ...
We can't confirm the date because there wasn't enough data to support. He's afraid that by picking the wrong date there won't be anyone showing up... so we need surveys to support and provide a better estimation of the number of people showing up ...
hm the activities... not confirmed but its somewhat similar to CF (oh btw, we're collaborating with CF as well, still under discussion/ negotiation). Juz a rough one:
a) Best Cosplayer
b) Karaoke/ Singing competition
c) Group performance
d) Lucky Draw
e) Games
f) Others
hey, if you guys can make it, pls do come over!!!
Venue: KDU (Kolej Damansara Utama)
*its the one near Atria shopping complex and opposite Petronas station

no choice... if don't do in advance, last min very troublesome. need time for planning...
how to get there? by public transport very easy. u juz need to be at Taman Bahagia Putra LRT station. From there, you take the LRT Feeder Bus--901A (or queue at the last section), and pay 0.50 cent to get up.
Landmark: you'll pass by the 1st petronas station, then a primary school, then Atria (back of Atria), another petronas station. Upon passing the 2nd Petronas Station, press the bell and get down ^^ turn left and walk upwards to KDU ... will post a map when its done!
i guess everyone preferd to do it on a saturday??? Weekday is not really convenient i think...

yes, the organisor, hamster-kun posted it on the CF ady! i am juz helping out as a supporting staff from their team. My schedule is quite packed from this month onwards until Mid-June so i turned down his offer to take up an official position in their committee. To take up the position, i will have to devote lots of time and energy into it which i am afraid might influence my academic work... so i suggest that i'll juz help out with everything i can...

Indeed, to have an event on weekdays is a bad thing. Even the college's own students can't come over to have fun. :? So I'm fine with any saturdays (hopefully no classes on saturday for the coming semester), or sundays.  Miyoko -~> Halo~ Here's some info about the forum scene here, since your "new" (I guess, read further to understand why). :wink: If this kind of events happen in Malaysia, you can be pretty sure CF is somehow involved with it (You can expect at least some of them to show up at any events staged here) due to a few reasons. 1- They have a big number of members 2- There's quite a number of cosplayers amongst their memberlist. Quite a number of us here also belong to CF too. (btw, I'm not 1. ) |

yeah basically CF forum's members are very passionate about cosplay so that is why you can find lots of them sharing tips and exchanging information etc on cosplays ^^

DD>> what about waiting at Putra LTR--- the Taman Bahagia station? i'll try to (hem) see what i can do from there on. but its not a prob actually coz when u reached the Tmn Bahagia LRT station, you'll juz need to take the feeder bus and you reached there! or perhaps see anyone can tumpang u there ^^ ... i'll ask ham-kun, the organisor and see if there's any arrangement regarding transport...
