TeniMyu is what the call Musical Prince of Tennis. I have found out, there is also Musical Bleach, Musical Sailormoon and Musical Hunter x Hunter. It's where real ppl dress up as the anime characters and act out the story on stage with lots of dancing and singing. It's not the same as cosplay though. It's like Broadway's musical performances, except that it's about the animes and well, you can't exactly expect Broadway quality. I have seen a few clips on it and Musical Prince of Tennis and Musical Bleach looks cool. Can't say the same for Sailormoon and Hunter x Hunter.

Why not we find every website of the Tenimyu, Bukimyu or even Myu so we can recognize the identificatons more easier....

A musical version of the anime series eh?
I haven't saw any of it yet and I don't think I want to see the Hunter X Hunter musical... dancing Gon... that's weird...
Although I want to see Revolutionary Girl Utena musical! I saw the clips somewhere in the internet... Black haired Utena... that's hard to find!

For Musical Hunter x Hunter, apparently the actors were the seiyuus of the anime. Gon...was played by a slightly chubby short woman. Illumi (that's Killua's brother right?) was played by a very pretty lady. You mean there's a Revolutionary Girl Utena musical? I haven't watched the anime yet. Is it nice?

Utena anime is... spectacular.
It was my first anime that I bought.
I watched the movie first before the series and I'm blown away by it. I never saw any series like this before! The animation is pretty, the music just makes me wanna sing along with it and the plot is GREAT!
The duels, Rose Bride and the characters is unbelievely good written.
It may have the 'Dragon Ball' syndrom in there (what can I say it's a 1997 series!).
But the duels are great! Plus it does have humour in it (Cow bells anyone?)
I'm particulary in love with Jury (my avatar) and will be in love with her as long as I can.
There was a Revolutionary Girl Utena Musical. It was showed a year after the series ended (I think...). Anthy was a little bit chubby and Utena have black hair with a pink stripe in it :shock: I saw several piccies of it only...

Sometimes, it's hard to say. I mean the hair colour. Of course, you'll want them to look like the characters, but Sailormoon's characters hair, which have all sorts of colours were a bit too...colourful for real life. The actors wearing colourful wigs...I think I'd rather they have their normal hair colour than those wigs. Or perhaps dye it to to the nearest most natural colour. Like the character Eiji in Prince of Tennis has dark pink hair so the actor dyed it maroonish colour. I think I'll prefer it that way.

True, true  But the Live-action Sailor Moon or PGSM actress do look cute in the wigs... First time look = "OMG! What're they wearing? They look...weird." Second time look = "Hmm... they do look cute in it..." I actually prefer Ami wearing a wig. She look cute in it! I also like the PGSM Musical. It was entertaining! |

Ah, the Live Action wasn't bad at all, after getting used to it. Endymion was....hehehehe *drools* I like Rei and Ami. Sailormoon Musical was REALLY colourful. I guess once you get used to it, it'll be alright. I like the side characters however. The real Kaguya Hime (smirks) looked nice... Sakurai Taisen Musical Team...must check it out.

I think you need to specify the name of the musical you want.
The "myu" is just a suffix to indicate its a musical version.
