Anyone watching this excellent shounen mahou shoujo series? I just finished watching the 2 seasons of this and I really liked it. Full of unexpected plot twists and some of the all-time best magical girl battles.

I'm watching this!
The action was... soo good. I never knew a mahou shoujo series this good before...
I've just started watching the 2nd season.
Need to d/l the first season...

I recommend it to other people!! Watch it!

I'm only a few episodes into the first series and all I have to say is nice weapons~ (beam cannon anyone?) :twisted:

Liked the OP too. Had trouble finding the lyrics so copied the subbed opening from the series. Tongue

Really kickass battle scenes. Even tops Gundam SUCKASS Destiny fights. Furthermore, the music complements the fight scenes just right.

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A's is the one of the few anime that i rewatch 80% of the scenes every few weeks because of the insanely cool battles it has albeit the fact that it's a mahou shoujo anime.

What are your favourite character & weapon in Nanoha? As for me fav char = Signum, fav weapon = Graf Eisen(voice-wise)/Bardiche(function-wise). Love it when Graf Eisen says the spell commands in German.

BTW, who knows Chrono weapon name? Cos i havent watch the 1st season yet & i dont think the name ever mentioned in A's. I also dont know if Chrono's weapon can talk too or not.

Using mecha fighting is one of the great expirience, & it would be glad if this anime able to having a compotition with other anime.

Are we watching the same anime? Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha is NOT a mecha series.

No it is not.
It's a new series.
You should check it out first before commenting about it.

The Velka knights are very cool! It's hard to find these type of anime with cool villains. It's a gem for me. Definitely gonna see this series again and again.

Agree. While I didn't like Vita at first, she started to grow on me.

Pardon me cos i still havent watched season 1 so i wouldnt know how weak Chrono was back then. But in A's, i dont think he's that powerful anyway, atleast compared to Nanoha, Fate or even any of the Velka Knights. From my observation:

1) His rain-of-spears spell only scratched the male guardian beast (forgot his name), seems barely doing any damage.
2) His spell that restain+dispel illusions that he used to unmasked the 2 mysterious guys seems like it's a very specialised spell that only useful in special circumstances.
3) His purpose at the last battle just to use the ice staff to freeze the last boss.

Heh, i also like Vita a lot but i have to like Signum a bit more. I like chicks in the knight armor (Fate/stay night Saber syndrome) and i love purple color. Being well endowed helps too  :wink: . If only Levantine voice is less annoying, then i might like the whole package better.

I've just finish watching the 1st season of Nanoha. The ending was... soo sweet! The ending makes me smilling all day long!

In the manga ch 2. Chrno defeated Fate during the temporary mage test. Chrno is still way too powerful than Nanoha & Fate. With he's a A Class Triple A+ mage meanwhile Fate is A Class Triple A.

But like I care about him! Fate just need to practice becoming more patience and I'm sure she will go way above Chrno level!

Need to finish watching the 2nd season! Got 8 episodes to go...

I've not finish download the whole season 2 yet...
meawhile for season 1, maybe I can sell it to you...
just expect it in a cd not in dvd... don't have a dvd burner..


Y'know after watching 12 episodes of season 2...
I'm thinking of taking back my word...
Chrono was just helping about a measly portion during the big boss fight...
His power is still too far away from Nanoha & Fate
Only his experiences excel them...
