I am trying to learn Japanese all by myself so to recognize the kana (both Katakana and Hirigana) is not quite a problem for me now (but never ask me about Kanji or I'll give a spank right up YOUR BACKS!!!)... anyway, all I can do is just to post one here, not much time so I hope you can get whatever I'm gonna say... here goes! *ehem!*
Watashi no onamae-wa Fiidausu desu.
T/L: My name is Firdaus.
This sentence is used when people are asking your name. Or, you could use "Watashi wa..." ("I am...") but this sentence sounds more polite than the latter, hmm?
prefixes like o- or go- are polite forms used to refer to *other* people, not for refering to oneself.
"watashi no namae ha xxxxx desu" is good enough.
if you want a polite way of introducing yourself, you could say "watashi ha Fi-dausu to moushimasu"
