Hey have you guys had this problem when you burned an avi to a video cd
and the video gets a little bigger than the tv screen and the subtitle gets barely visible.
How do i fix it? I'm using Nero 6 Ultra Edition. Somebody help...

That's normal.
TV screen aren't quite like computer monitor because the former don't show the entire video area.  They 'eat' some of the area.  It's a standard.  That is why when you watch certain VCD/videotape on TV you'll get a clean fullscreen, but on PC monitor you might see some jagged borders around the video.

Back to your problem, to fix it you have to shrink the video a little bit, maybe 92-95%, and then the rest 5-8% are black borders.

ok but how do i shrink the video?...

2nd post:
never mind... i was thinking of buying a DVD/Divx player... I just hate watching anime on my pc.
Recently I bought a bunch of DVD-RWs but apparently it took me more time to convert+burn than actually watching them...
So could any1 tell me how much the cheapest DVD/Divx player costs and where to get it?...

1. Two steps. First shrink & convert to VCD using TMPGEnc. And then burn with Nero.

2. I saw an AivX (or was it DivX?) player the other day at LYP. Can't remember the price but I know it's between rm300-499. But cheapest I heard is one from Pioneer.

I save myself all the trouble by jus watching it on tv via the graphic card tv-out.Set your pc display to the lowest(800x600 i think) then go to display option-setting-advance option, look for display,if got tv then click on & walah(it's depend on graphic card,in my case ATI Redeon 9550)....watch anime on a 29"tv with home theater sound system ^_^

MPEG Setting -> Advanced -> Video Arrange Method=Center (custom size). Put the pixel values in there.

IMHO...better to connect ur pc to a tv...graphic cards arent that expensive now. i use nvidia6600gt and it was fine. even my old mx4000 can handle it.
