I don't really take graphic as a factor for playing a game ( cause i really like FF7) but there must be limit. Anyway the game also sux in my point of view!
Ah, if you think the game sucks then you shouldn't really be playing the PS2 remade, because they are basically the same, with graphics upgraded, and added a few new things. If you liked old school RPG, it is actually quite good but of course, it is nothing compared to FF7.

The upgraded graphics and a few new things, like I said, the new characters and new areas, they also added some things from Wild Arms 3, and removed the original equipment system. The battle system is actually the same except they now have the characters running arround the screen instead of lining up(aka FF). The skills and abilities are from the original as far as I know, except they made it character specific, only a certain character can use certain skills, etc, and some skills from original characters are moved to the new characters.

With all these changes, the game is still very identical to the original, both games play almost exactly the same, but then again, if you didn't play the original enough, you wouldn't notice the similarities. There is no new gameplay that I know of, but I could be wrong.

I played both games, didn't finish them though. Oh btw, I hated the new opening and I think the old one is far better. Sad

Altough i didn't played the game, i watched my younger brother played the game.

I didn't say that the game is totally brand new, but with all these new changes it is enough to make this a better game than the first
