Just caught the movie last nite...
didnt know it was gonna b super long...
2 AND HALF HOURS!!!
my leg lost circulation of blood halfway during the movie...
n i kicked my colleague's leg a few times by accident...
neway... the movie...
despite the bad reviews i read...
the truth is... i kinda enjoy the movie!

Everyone performs well except Watanabe. Storywise average but there was never have any boring scenes.

Merging threads... This Movie really made me say "AWE"!! in 300 different language that I have never lernt before lolz. I love the Motion Picture!! They sure did a great job on the effects and such.. looks sooo beautiful!!!!
As for the story, I'm not such a fan of sad romance because I'm more into happy comedy romance lolz. Yet again, I would give it a 85%!! Wohooooooooooo! That's allot alright~* Go and watch it with your boyfriends/girfriends on the weekends.. it'll make your day (^_-) Hmmm.... Is this kind a reality from the Meiji Era or fantasy...? |

I haven't really finished watching this movie but until the part where the guy ripped of her clothes "shrugs".. but from my point of view.. yeah I liked the show... and all steven spielberg shows =D!! tho I'm not sure if the main actress is japanese or chinese? either way, she was okay =p

The main 3 female characters are chinese actresses playing the role of Japanese geishas. That's why there's complaints from some parts of the public in China AND Japan.

Currently there are none accomplished Japanese actress that available and known to the world.
Japan anger because Geisha origin is Japanese but the role was played by Chinese. While China anger because the role is Japanese but it's Chinese who played it.
They're bunch of @ssholes who lived inside history and fight publicly. Should just shut up and be mature a bit.

Re Alec-Sects: OMG! Why are they so mad about it anyways? It's not like the movie going to effect anyone.. I mean they're "JUST" actors playing a role and it's just a movie a.k.a "just" a story from a damn book being retold by a moving screen... I mean, it's just acting?!!?!?

It raises some issue when it comes to CJ matter. They live in the past and still fight openly now. Although it's just a movie they still complain about it each other through paper. Back to Geisha, I'm dissapointed with the ending. Anyway this show is outdated.  |
