yup that true!
Hmm... I'm not exactly a gamer Xyroe.
I rather use the money to buy new PC... but I can always ask my parents for that! Smiley

Ahh... I've think about buying an iPod Nano but small storages (yes, 1GB is small for me) really doesn't interest me.
Don't worry too much Smiley
RM 1499 is nothing for me (after I received my 'gaji' at the end of month).
Meanwhile I have money, I should buy anything that I wanted, right?

portability ,storage ,ease of use, mp3 player wins hands down. why

you have to keep tonnes of fragile cds to match HDD players, whuich take up a lotta space. u have to convert and burn ur files, which is slightly more time consuming than transferring to mp3player. cd players use lasers, which can be dangerous, cd players are round, feels weird in ur pocket.

but i end up having both. an aiwa cdplayer (digital audio cd only, no mp3 or anything else) and a wewa 5000+ xaloy

Thanks for the comment thewan!

After playing around with the iPod, in a week the iPod hangs about 3-4 times. (yes, the software does hangs)

Sometimes the only way to un-hang the software is to connect it to a power source and let the iPod comes back to life itself.

The only annoying thing is... it takes ages for the software to come back to life! (around 30 min to 1 hour)
The lithium battery also need to be change (when the iPod can only stay alive for a mere couple hours...)

Overhall, the audio quality is good + the software can keep contacts (using vCard), have games, can read txt format and a lot more.

Recently I have also acquired an iPod Nano (1GB). Other than having to format it a couple times, it seems to work fine.

The main problem is using iTunes. But it works so I can't complain much. Sorting through my stuff I realise I have a lot of crap music; not even enough good stuff to fill my iPod to capacity.

Responding to the topic title, I would say it's hard for me to decide. But say if I have more money then I would have opted for a portable DVD player (with screen) or an MP4 player or BOTH. But since my family's in-house income can't reach up high to the prices, I would preserve my choice for a later me in the future.

I don't mind getting an iPod or whatsoever-Pods as long as that thing can play whatever I want whenever I'm on the move.
