Ganchan,I wonder have you ever heard of a use items shop?what I mean is items like washer machines, tvs, dvd players,hi-fi system etc etc...some of those are brand new(use only for a few months or less). If not mistaken(watch it on Discovery channel)those Japs will replace their current items whenever new tech/model/advance whatever that will be avalible in the market even it they have it only for a few month or even days   & also some shops will sell it at a bargain price once the new product is avalible.Once I ask my colleage husband to find me a brand new ps over there but he can't find it.It's amazine how those Japs can do that...imagine replace a brand new 36"tv with even newer & advance 36"tv ...swt.
ps:err...hope you know what I mean :p

yah, I've seen quite a number of used electronic goods shops in Akihabara. handphones and laptops being sold in baskets, pasar malam style etc. However, I'd rather not get all these 2nd hand stuff, the insides may be broken for all I know. Also, I don't think that they're as wasteful as they used to be, so it's harder to find 2nd hand stuff that is relatively new and cheap. New/recent models, yes, but not necessarily much cheaper than brand new stuff. However, original software may be worth buying. e.g. original Sega Saturn software sold at 200-300yen a piece...but then again who still plays sega saturn here in M'sia  Tongue

How is the anime dvd price there? Is it very expensive? And what about the Bandai Gundam Muzeum, did you saw a model named Heavy Arms Custom (Gundam Wing : Endless Waltz) of Master or Perfect Grade? I tried to import using a local toy shop but still no news....

No, if you talk to God you’re religious. If God talks to you, you’re psychotic.
You know how people say you can't live without love? Oxygen's even more important.

I think I saw that one. Any Gunpla that you can think of is on display in the Gbase (which is actually the souvenir shop), even stuff that you probably didn't know exist. Tongue

Techinically, I think it is still winter. Unfortunately I'll be back in Malaysia just before the sakuras blossom.
