Anyone watched it already? Well I did. A promosing movie ended up with dissapointment. A below-par type of movie. Try to avoid if possible. Want to watch it? Sure, rent it then. I'm trying to saving your money. =) However Narnia fans(if there's any) will love it... I'm sure. Harry Potter is much better, far brilliant than Narnia, if compared. I'm giving out my mark: 5 of 10.

I agree with alec.
The FX is only focus on the look of the animals and other magistic creatures.
Nothing fancier like in harry potter.
It is look as if they are short of actors in this filem.
The Background Scene is so-so. The white witch castle
is just white and made of ice.
But for kids to watch this movie is like watching another Disney
film not too dramatic and mildly scene plot where good triumphs over evil.
I for once prefer the cartoon version.
It is more dramatic and i even cried the part where the lion was
put to shame before killing it.

well i'm going to see it cos got free tickets  edit:jus saw the movie ...nice movie but i have 1 complaint,there are no turtles in the movie,they make a good tanker & sould be the 1st one to charge at the enemy & guarentee the army will have a hard time keeping up with them..muahahahahaa :twisted: |

anyway, yes, it's a good show! love the movie ^^ its wonderful and touching too ^^ though i guess certain part was a little depressing as we all know, bad guys are bad guys... they can be painfully cruel most of the time @@ gosh, and i can't deny how evil the witch was...
but i love the lion ... the moment i saw it, i wanted to hug it and touch it~ kyaaaaaaaaa it must be nice to be able to hug it!!!!!

The CG was good. The kids were cute. It's a fairly entertaining piece IMHO if you switch off your brain and cynic sensors...
People/creatures get stabbed and die and yet there's no blood :|
It gets a little too preachy at times too...
