When he was about to be killed, a girl in a black cloth holding a large sword appeared, and cut the monster in halves. Although Yuji pulled though the crisis, the girl informed him of a hopeless fact. `You don’t "exist" anymore' She called herself Flame Haze who hunted “Kuze no Tomogara”, intruders from another world. She explained him that he was a "torch”, a substitute of Yuji whose “existence” had already eaten. She also told him that he was a special torch, “Mystis”, which had a precious item in it. Just watched up to ep. 6. It reminds me of a cross between Bleach and Tsukuyomi Moon Phase. I'm interested in seeing how the romance will develop.

Shakugan No Shana 1st Opening sung by Mami Kawada from I've and not KOTOKO but it's nice nontheless.
Anyway, i cant find myself the drive to watch this anime but i definitely love Shakugan No Shana-tan. It's a short 5-min DVD omake featuring chibi Shana. Totemo kawaii~~~.

Yay!! Thanks piano!
I've read the v1 of the manga. It was a little complicated with the tomogara and the flame stuff... but I managed to understand it a little bit. Shana is very cute! I also would like to know how the romance between her and Sakai wil go.
I find out KOTOKO will be doing the second opening for the series. (Anything from I've i'm gonna d/l!) Is the series gonna be long or around 26 ep.?

Watched up to ep. 12. Personally I think that the series starts hitting its stride around ep 9 when it starts focusing on the love square instead of trying to explain thousands of technical terms.
