darklord- ur mecha might turn into a "candy sweet loli pop" if it is colored by mee hahaha.
loki5- i use photoshop (smudge effect).
yuii-thankz- actually its hard to make the dark sky mix with the dusk colors (for me laa)

Most of us will do a perfect clean line art before we want to color our drawings.
i'm kinda lazy so what i did was leave the rough pencil sketches and then add the colors on it.
this is the rough sketch.


in the photoshop i start up with using gradient toolbar and choose darkblue(fg) and yellow(BG). Later on i use a lot of layers and then merge
it so that my pc wont have RAM problem.
If u make a lot of layers, it will slow down your pc performance.

ok here is another simple drawings.
my fren told me i should earn another extra money by
designing some arts for ads or something hahaha..
anyway..
this is the lineart

and this is the finish art


first i fill base color and then i add the shadow using the pen tool.
It is ez for me since i'm using the the mouse instead of  a tablet wacom(look like a pen normally use in PDA)
when i use the pen tool it will create a path. Frm this path later it is easy for me to just fill in the color to make shadows.

ok for the clouds i choose a light gray color, a simple round brush with 40% pressure in screen mode.

My latest one...i posted it in the other thread
I like stand still pictures. I kinda slow with making comics.
I only do that when i feel i want to give some special comics to
some of my closest frenz.
both were done less than 5 hours.
yeah i know. I'm kinda slow.



I used a lot of photoshop command filter->render->clouds to make
the snow on the ground and brush in screen mode to have that greyish affect
on the snowman and the sky.
