Considering we know about the date in advance, shouldn't be a problem arranging a trip back to KL to coincide with it. After all, I don't think I'll be returning home on a monthly basis anyway.
Anyway, saw an ad for Evangelion 2.0 in the newspaper today. Anyone game for it? Same place again, I believe.

Assume BO should be on 17th July since nearly every year it's held somewhere along that week. There's no official announcement yet I think...? At least I couldn't find it ^____^|| tried googling

...and the date was just a speculation. Will need to wait for an official release date from the organizers to be sure.

Ugh please just adjourn with the 2D version. 3D puts so much strain on the eyes (I really wanted to scream "my eyes, my eyes!" at the end of the show). Plus, there's no subtitle which makes certain part fairly difficult to understand. Why? Mad hatter was reciting some poems and there's so much foreign language in there. Without subs, I kinda missed what he was saying (coz there's some meaning to his poem). kinda frustrated... he speaks with a thick accent too which also makes it quite difficult to catch some of the words. So in total, I strain my eyes and ears  ...it seems like I should be screaming, "My eyes, my ears!" Bwahahahahahaha DD you'll never hear the end of it! We're gonna tease you till you CRY!!! yala xell, DD got so distracted :p |

lol I'm going for the 2D version. I wanted to re-watch it because the story was okay (must say it wasn't spectacular) and I love Johnny Depp + Tim Burton Yes, preferably you try to hear what the Hatter says coz it's hard to 'catch' it. But since there's subtitle, it wasn't too bad. Funny thing, my friend said she watched Percy Jackson in the cinema and when one of the character says "hell" (the part where they need to travel to hell to save Percy's mom), it was translated as "alam ghaib" in the BM subs!!! Hahahahahahaha shouldn't it be "neraka"? We were discussing about it and concluded that since there's kids watching, the word "neraka" may be controversial and 'harsh' on kids thus the alam ghaib term. |
