The release date is around the corner, in fact it's next week. Man I'm a bit worried that Peter Jackson's slow-paced character development of directing style will affect the whole movie. 3 hours is what we want for and we expect a lot of action in there. But since it's Jackson's film it could be: 1st hour - Character development, chit chat chit chat yawnzzz...... 2nd hour - Skull Island, introduction of Kong and the relationship development between Kong and Ann, some action including Kong vs. 3 T-Rexes 3rd hour - Kong in Broadway! A bigger Hulk version in town smashing buildings, destroying cars, ...etc

well, since its Peter Jackson we're talking about, i guess it shouldn't be that boring in the 1st hour (hopefully)... i'm gonna arm myself with loads of snacks and a drink before going in (hehe well, something that i had not done for a looooooooong time before going in to cinema ^____^) ... aaaah~ can't wait for it~

Yeah hopefully you're right. Since the first hour doesn't really have Kong hopefully it won't bored out of us! May the hillarious scenes will keep us company yea.(if there're any) EDIT: added few things ---> I ripped this from a guy's review: ........Peter Jackson uses a lot of slow motion scenes. They never really did anything for the film and they seemed out of place. It didn't help matters that they added to the long running time of the movie. He also uses a lot of long, lingering stares between Ann and Kong. The first couple of times it was no big deal. However, by the end of the movie you're saying, "Enough already, let's move on.Beware though Jackson is testing our patient ^^ ........Some of the effects weren't quite up to snuff. There were many bluescreen shots where a blue haze can be seen around the character's hair. Some scenes with the ship looked very fake as well.Omg, we're seeing BLUE around Kong's hair!! o_O; ........the score by James Newton Howard wasn't all it could have been. There was no notable Kong theme and the music frequently got lost in the background or was generic. However, this is forgivable too since Howard only had two months to create the score. Perhaps if he had more time he could have done some work as notable as his stuff for "ER," "The Sixth Sense," or many of his other films.Well like he said, the score not matched/suited for the scenes. Hey Jackson, scoring is the most important thing in a film. Alright that the bad part how about good parts? Well just see the film lah.......!

crap! after an infuriating and agonising one-hour of trying to book tickets for this movie, i finally got my reservation for thursday morning 11am at Wan U TGV ;__; those at GSC were FULLY BOOKED, dammit! i kept running upstairs and downstairs (at my home @@) to check the time available (via internet since its not up in the papers yet), calling my fren and calling for reservation (the reason being we try to accommodate 2 movies in one day, the other being Narnia). Gosh, i was so frustrated when the slot i wanted for KK in GSC was well, left with ONE seat ... neway our plan was upside down (should have seen that coming @@) but managed to pull it off finally...
so i'll let you all know whether it's been good or bad hehe though everyone's judgement may differ. ooo alec, i'll try to look out for those 'weakness' in the film you mentioned ^_____^
