The forum is beyond dead.
Anyone went to see the Thunderbirds last Saturday?
Haha missed it. Was on work standby last weekend. So I amused myself with Thunderbird crash footage on youtube instead. Yuii: From the complaining about cow-orkers, I think going to the alumni thingy is better. Odds are the wedding dinner will be miserable for you :O |

You're right, the wedding dinner could be a bore but it feels as tho we're not 'giving face' in Chinese culture. Well I have another 2-3 weeks to decide... should be okay I guess ^^; ...I feel the alumni dinner is better coz I'll get to meet new ppl and do some networking.

It's not about giving face; If they're friends, then by all means attend and give them your blessing. Otherwise, you have no obligation to your cow-orkers outside your job. It's not okay if it's not fun. Live for yourself. If you feel the Alumni gathering is more beneficial for you, then go for that one instead. We have too little time for ourselves as it is. |

Now I know why they were considered as the finest air squadron for acrobatic fly in the world. Truly breathtaking and amazing precision. I am glad to be alive to see it with my own eyes. When they do their stunts, they truly look like jet powered angels dancing in wild blue, blue sky. Absolutely fantastic. Well Yuii, just go to a gathering which have more meaning to you. No point go to a gathering and don't enjoy it. |

Fellow & Stormy is right! I'll just attend the alumni dinner  I know I'll feel down at the wedding dinner if I miss the alumni gathering~ hehe xell yeah, just give angpao and say sorry can't make it. Not all of my colleagues are going anyway. COTD>> I'm annoyed at this fella from our branch company. We have another independent company managed locally in Sarawak and recently (like, 2 months ago) they hired this new guy over there. Since both of us have similar responsibilities and position, we do interact - he'll get info and stuffs from me etc. Thing is, he's really over-friendly and I have no time to layan his sms/ mails/ chat. Wish he would stop messaging me in any way without me having to tell him to! Aaaaaargh that's why I put "busy" or "invisible" mode on gmail! |

COTD>> I'm so freaking pissed at my colleague! I told them many many times abt no last minute thingy and they had to blow my day away. I practically screamed at her on the phone and I was so loud, the office went into silence momentarily. It's because I've been nice to them in the past - makes me an easy person to bully. I don't care whether it's an executive or a rep, bid by my rule. This will be the LAST TIME I tolerate with them. In future, I'll reject without a glance. I'm fine being the 'bad guy' - there's simply too much work for a 'good guy' and nothing good comes off it.

Yuii I got mine which is like stockings and not panty-hose at pasar malam. BEWARE some are damn short cant be pulled all the way up. I think ur best shot is at times square and sg.wang/ BB plaza if at shop at least u can try 1st.
wanna go together on Friday? Aoi and I prob still got a few more things to get.
