yeah but now she starting her own family, very hard to come up here, esp during d hols... sigh... i hear the alarm bells ringing in my own head, but no birds singing yet :p

haha i bet u all were either rolling ur eyes or laughing hysterically when the waiter came up wif tat line? once in tuition, one guy sitting behind us said to my friend "hey, u've got ammonia on ur hair"
Interestingly, he was kinda mumbling so I didn't hear him. I don't know, when I go to a restaurant (unless coffee shop etc) I expect everyone to speak English (esp in places like Vivo, even if the waiter is a Chinese).
I thought he was asking my friend for something (eg. need any more napkins, missing cutleries etc) that I wasn't paying attention. Even the girl herself couldn't make out what he was saying! She looked at him blur blur. Not until 2 of my friends started going, "OMG that's so weird!" and we forced one of them to recount the whole thing. THEN only we got it. And yeah, we were all laughing and criticizing - SO BLOODY LAME!!!
Afterwards he walked past again. As I wasn't feeling particularly hungry/ appetizing that day, I had a lot of leftovers on my plate. He looked at me and started saying something. My brain could not decipher (sounded like some foreign language to me). I was like, "Huh? Sorry?" to him and he repeated it a 2nd time. I caught some random Mandarin words and I replied in Mandarin, "Sorry, you were saying...?" lol and he repeated a 3rd time asking if the food wasn't good (with the leftovers and all) and whether he should get me a new plate. I was like, "Oh, no it's good but I'm not hungry" -> in Mandarin again.
My friends were laughing like crap and one of them said, "He must be wondering why all the girls in this table is so darn blur!"
Anyway we got pretty 'conscious' of him next. Pretty worried he might start saying something weird or cheesy again (as though the pasta weren't cheesy enough). When my friend called for bill from one of the Malay waiters, HE came over with the receipt. He said got free bag since the meal was over... dunno how much. So we said the BDay girl should get it (not the married girl, another one).
When he brought the bag over, my friends were like telling her, "Eh check it first. Maybe he puts his hp number inside...!" lol thank god he didn't! But again, maybe it's coz the bag is not for the one he had his eye on!
