I guess it's called Maple Story. I never did "click" with RPG games before so you can say I passed it by.

There's new island/map just launched not long ago called Ossyria. That's what most Beta Maplers are waiting for. They're officially launching the game on 23rd June where most likely Cash Shop should start operational. Indeed I have character in there but I'm selfish enough not to help anyone in this forum. Curse the f*cking korean Wizet for failing the database migratation from GMS to MSEA.
But I can provide some job tips for newbie:

Warrior
Fighter - melee figure using sword or axe, highest HP among all jobs, lowest MP among all jobs, very powerful attack with rage, good defence, attack speed normal to faster, hard for lvling, has useful power guard skill, will always ksed by magician or thief (real difference comes after 3rd job)
Page - melee figure using sword or mace, high HP, below average MP, good attack, good defence, attack speed normal to faster, hard lvling, has useful power guard skill, will always ksed by magician or thief too (real difference comes after 3rd job)
Spearman - melee figure with long range using spear or pole-arm, high HP,  average MP, great max attack but inconsistent, average defence, attack speed slow to normal, slow lvling, have extra very useful skill called Hyper Body, will always ksed by magician or thief at early stage

Magician
Fire - ranged figure, lowest HP among all jobs, highest MP among all jobs, powerful attack based on fire element, another poison attack is optional, very low defence, fast lvling, got teleport skill, hard to kill mob with strong mdef or with same element, will disliked by warriors
Ice - ranged figure, lowest HP among all jobs, highest MP among all jobs, good freeze attack from ice and average lighting attack, very low defence, fast lvling, got teleport skill, hard to kill mob with strong mdef or with same element, will disliked by warriors
Cleric - ranged figure, lowest HP among all jobs, highest MP among all jobs, low attack from holy but effective against undead while heal is effective against specific undead, got extra physical defence skill and blessing, very fast lvling with undead, will loved by everyones

Thief
Assassin - ranged figure using throwing star, average hp & average mp, attack decided by types of throwing stars, below average defence, fast lvling, has extreme useful haste skill and drain skill, will disliked by almost everybody
Bandit - melee figure using dagger/cutter, average hp & average mp, average to good attack, below average defence, normal lvling, has coolest savage blow skill, will disliked by almost everybody

Bowman
Forget about staring this job, it sucked.

That's all NOOBS, bye...
