Nice heart warming anime. In good position of being my 2nd favourite anime in 2005 after AIR TV. Although maybe for some ppl they dont expect it to become a love/lil bit comedic drama instead of a comedy anime, i already knew it gonna be one the moment i saw the 1st ep. Simply said, this anime give me the KareKano feeling without the Gainax weirdness of it.
What attracts me the most about this anime is the art style & coloring, mostly the coloring of the anime. In the simple words i can say, it looks too manga-ish IMHO for an anime and i'm still debating whether i like it or not. All i can say right now (after watching 2 eps & waiting for 3), this anime graphic have the unique-ness & refresh-ness that make it different from it's 2005 anime peers (one of the reason why i love AIR TV too, although in color department H&C beats AIR TV for me).
Talking about graphic, i LURVEEEEEE the coloring of the anime very much. I simply love the style of lite coloring, sort of like water color-ish/ air brush. What Saikano, which also use this kind of style of coloring (although still lacking somewhere in my eyes) lacks, this anime make up for it.
The characterization & storyline also is compelling in this anime which makes you want to see more of it. Furthermore, the male characters in this anime really hit close to me & my close friends because we can reflects some of the anime characters traits in each of us

The insert songs are very very good, as already posted by other posters. The Ending song is same too. But the opening song...........Weird graphics which dont reflects much of the anime kinda out of place (until we know the significance & relation of the opening sequences & the anime later). Not to mention the prawn at the end of the opening clip scares the hell out of me no mattter how many times i see it >_<.
All in all, a nice addition to 2005 anime collection. I hope this anime will turn out to be a nice, heart warming & good love drama because i already almost giving up to Peach Girl because the characters there are so pissifying :evil: .
