Best to get this forum moving, lest I be proven correct.

I just watched episode 18. Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.

Not because it's the best episode or the prettiest one. It's all the gang analogy, the... dialogue, the tagging Hiroshima with graffitti.  It was all... WTF, but in a good way. Shocked

Also Mugen's brutal tutor reminds me of my primary school teacher.

This is the best anime series this year. No doubt about it.

That's what I love about this show. All the fights are watchable and exciting. They are careful not to draw them out too long like those bad fighting anime.

Not sure, I read somewhere that the Sunflower samurai's identity was mentioned in Episode 19....

Presumably someone we haven't met yet. (Because many of them are dead)

I hope that assassin in episode 2 shows up again...  Shocked

If you notice when he moves during the fight he blurs. Neither Mugen nor  Jin blur when they move, and they are already so fast.

yeah... he maybe better than Jin and Mugen himself... but his style into tricking ppl that he is worthless... what better way to disguise yourself??

ep6:  I couldnt what the Holland guy said at the end... "Someday this country will open its *toot* for me" and i was rofl... and i mean i was really rofl

oh well the music was kinda good, the OP sequence was good, but since i'm not so much into rap...

sorry for the double-posting... dont know how to get this to the top Wink

but finished marathoning, damn good la this series... i like how they end a particular episodes... it seems like it was hanging, but perfectly done!!!

eg the ep when Jin falls in love with that woman... they end it with the woman is safely beyond the reaches of her pursuer, when Jin was left to fight... the tears... the agony...

then the ep when Mugen with his past... the end of the part two... another perfectly done...

This show has style, if nothing else. Smiley

Spoilers might follow:

Yeah, the Pirate Champloo episodes had a buildup going that makes the ending really pay off. It drags a little but not too much, better than most other series.

The Jin In Lurve episode is not quite resolved yet, just like the Assassin one. We hope they will tie up the loose ends before the series concludes.  Mugen on the other hand, tends to settle his loose ends very fast Smiley
