Streamy X downtime

For those of you suffered massive slowdowns since April 7th, 2 undersea cable suffered breakdown, namely APCN 2 S8 and S3. Malaysia broadband has been exclusively using APCN 2 and TELEKOM has shares in this one.

APCN 2 outtage also affected Singapore, US, Japan, HK, Korea and Thailand.Interestingly, our newspaper only talk about S3 cable and remain a bit restrained about S8. It is funny to note that TMNet said in their news website that it is a minor problem, in light of this incident.

S3 is scheduled for redeployment by April 20th, whereas the S8 is HOPEFULLY will be repaired by 2000 GMT today.

I got 2x slower than DIALUP speed despite using TelengjangKom StimXXX.
2 days without downloading animes and surfing Net.

I'm using streamyx. Downloading from IRC is still a torture.... other then that everything seems ok.
