ah i finally able to persuade my group members to do this for our project. so basically it's like a costume shop that sells and rent ready-made costumes and also offers customize service for those who wants something different.

we also offer consultation svc to those who have no idea what they want to cosplay as. advice given based on the suitability of the person and the character and bla bla bla. oh yeah, we not only make costumes for anime/ cosplay but also for those who wants to cosplay western movies--obi wan kenobi, anakin, harry potter, LOTR etc.

got a pic of it? what do you think? i need a shop name urgently! something that's cool, funky, easy to remember

there's several suggestion from members:

dazzle
mystique
vanish
icykle (my suggestion lol) but they say it sounds 'cold'

oh ya, i might need you guys' help for a survey/ questionnaire on anime/ costume stuffs ... i dunno when but it'll definitely in this month. i'll really appreciate help from all of you!!!

ahaha i wonder if i should put this here coz members here seldom cosplay. anyway... hope i can get some help here!

oh yea, the costume shop is not limited to anime only... there's also Halloween costume, costume for other events, dancers etc

anyway, this is the concept... we have a (quite big) shop that is divided into TWO sections. the left side of the shop is where all ready-made costumes are put on display (at the glass door) and are placed insode for people to buy/ rent. there's a fitting room for you to change and try the costumes, see whether they look nice on you or not/ they fit or not etc

and on the right side of the shop is a consultancy/ customization area. people go in there to get their costume customized. for example, you want to cosplay as Gaara from Naruto and you need the suit. so you'll need to bring a complete picture of Gaara and we'll take your measurement and prepare your costume. the complete set. whether you want the accessories (sandles, forehead protector, wigs, sword etc) to be included is another choice. if you would like us to make/ buy/ get it for you, it's not a problem

costumes for customization need to be pre-order ONE month before taking it... if you're doing it last minute and need it within about... one week etc, we'll charge a small fee for that. btw, need to pay 20% deposit upon ordering... when the costume is complete, we'll call you to take it. before taking it home, you can try in our fitting room. if there's anything wrong (eg size, string came out etc), we'll fix it on the spot (if possible) before you make the other 80% balance payment.

as for the consultation thingy, its for those who wants to cosplay but have no idea who they want to cosplay as. we have people advising you on that and gives you a sample/ booklet to flip and have a look. we'll advise you according to your suitability and budget.

that's a rough guide... so i need help for costume now! i'm in desperate attempt to PINJAM costumes for ONE DAY to show it in my presentation. preferable those mainstream anime like Naruto, FMA, HnG--Sai, Bleach, One Piece, FF etc! but if i could get a MODEL to cosplay and go there for a while, it would be BETTER! what's the reward? hm... i can belanja makan!  not enough ka? enough la...

can someone help? dun worry, i won't take your costume... if you guys worry about that, i can give you my add, picture, phone no., IC no., student number etc! you can report police if i ever take them  i'm in desperate need of help >_< ... it'll be in about 3 to 4 weeks before my presentation is due! there's a lot of things needed to be done... HELP! Dasukete kudasai!

apart from that, i'm also having a headache thinking of a name for the shop and the location. my team mates suggested SS17 but i think the place is not quite suitable... it's not easily accessible (or is it? i'm not from PJ area, so not very sure but i passed by the place the other day) and a little quiet. any suggestion? or comments!?

*there'll also be a survey but so far we only designed the question halfway. after we've completed it, i hope that i'll get help from everyone!!! Arigato!!!

ok, first of all... there's already a costume shop in SS 17 and yes, SS 17 is very quiet and i doubt it if u can run a successful business there...

and of course, i'll be happy to help u with the name and survey... heck, all AM members can help u with that.... but the model for cosplay... not so sure.... to start off, do we even have members that's willing to cosplay??

btw, i love the concept... full of anime costume, yet there's still sumthing for non-otakus...

lol if no model also nvm... most importantly is the costume. i need to at least show some sample of costume etc... sigh~ this is going to be tough =__= its hard to have people who are willing to help with the costume and its tougher to get people who cosplays the mainstream anime to pinjam their costumes. its very expensive...   if me also i'll think twice ...

oh? ss17 already got costume shop there ka? oh okie, that's great coz at least now we can choose another location lol. i don't want to argue with them over the location  Tongue Thanks, yuki!

pyramid ah? emmmm.... okay la, but the crowd is not as good as MV deh, and the rental is almost similiar too. i think picking a location that is easily acessible via public transport is better lo... bigger crowd, more customer? no?

i dun have costumes to lend.... Sad  sorry.. cant help here...

i suggest cosplayer's haven for the shop name..... pretty straight forward.
