Anyone else seen this? I just finished it. Wow! It's been a while since any anime moved me to tears. Without giving any spoilers, I will say that this has to be one of the most powerful and romantic endings I have ever seen. And this has certainly one of the most beautiful romantic confessions I have seen in any anime.

I finish that last month, and i do agree with you that it has a powerful ending but a little weird don't you think?(Cuz i never thought that Chikane and Himeko would be Lesb...):?  When i start the first epd,i though that both of them will fall in love with the Soma-san but the ending seems like way far from what i thought it was suppose to be. I also like the design of the Orochi robot, great design. Kotoko is the only thing that kept me glued to this anime with her haunting ED and good OP...

but this anime got some pretty annoying character, in fact this is the first anime that I wished it doenst have any mecha in it, becoz it had destroyed the anime

Like I said in the previous forum, I couldnt even prepare instant noodles in the duration of a fight.  The fights look to be forced in. Could have made do without it. (or maybe substitute with other forms of combat? 1 on 1 melee?!   But they would have to come up with short, intresting bouts due to their fight allocation time...)
Yeah, I agree the ending was nice. ok, it may have been a girl - girl relationship, something out of the norm (that's a good thing?) but that aside, it was touching yeah?
Overall was ok, except for the eariler mentioned fight scenes...

Kyoto Animation – If there’s anime deity, then KyoAni’s its prophet. Absolutely the darling of the anime world now, for good reasons like Fumoffu, The 2nd raid, AIR TV,The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi and Kanon 2006. With KyoAni, it’s not anime, it’s art[/i].

like I said, the series would be a WHOLE LOT BETTER if they left out two things...

that darn Souma or whatever his name is... and also those lousy mechas and their lousy mecha fights... they should focus more on the girls relationship more...

although it was some sort of yuri (okay it IS yuri) but their relationship is so complex, I think I would be at the edge of my seat if they left out those factors....

...okay... the guy's part is important too, I think... but he is so annoying I just want to strangle him...

yeah maybe that is true, heck it IS true

but the complexness of their relationship really intrigued me... now if that kind were to be put between a man and a woman though...

Not to threadjack and all but...

Lesbians can have real relationships too!

I'm a lesbian trapped in a man's body. Shocked

But really, how a woman loves a woman is quite different from how a man loves a woman.  We should not judge it too harshly from a male perspective at times...

Ladies of AM, what do you think of this show and its character relationships?

Lol, it's like finding guys who actually watched Sukisho, Gravitation or Fake (Uh, ok. This one a yaoi >_<").

As for the characters relationship, this anime reminds me a bit of Utena. But atleast i can say in Utena the relationship are unique, complex and not to mention confusing unlike Kannazuki No Miko which is simply Girl x Girl love.

Furthermore, Utena is a more bizarre anime than KnM (upside down castle on the air, revolutionary rose thingy, weird fencing fight on motorcycle, girl turns into car   ).
