Just like wat the topic said, choose the place where u want to meet up. Again, i encourage the newbies (if they are any to read this in the first place) to come and attend these meet-up sessions.

And as usual, we'll b having our annual picnic at Bon Odori, which will most likely be in July

now back to the topic, CHOOSE where to haf the meet-up for April.
if u haf other suggestions, please post it here. dun b shy, ok... i won't bite
but if it's ridiculous, then i will bite...

and i mostly choose shopping centres since... i also dunno y... hahaha

but if the majority is at Sg Wang, i won't b able to make it due to transport problems. but i'll ask someone else to organise the meet-up if it's there

Anyway, preferably anywhere close to cheras. Tongue
Otherwise will have to find members who have transport.   Cool

aiyaaah... we're having a tie between MV and Anywhere....
hmmm... now if i was damn evil... i'll just pick anywhere and go to 1u...

SO PPL WHO DIDN'T VOTE, BETTER VOTE WHERE U WANT TO MEET UP!!

and for those who don't want me to pick the venue in the end, better post here and tell me wat place is better than 1u or MV
bcoz anywhere is everywhere... but not Penang or Ipoh ar...

Actually.... The last option is like putting a blank vote... Wherever is picked they'll just follow so the votes don't count....

okaaaayyy... then MV is in the lead with 4 votes....
imagine... only 4 votes???!!! i could expect the 'crowd' turning up then...
neway, i won't b pessimistic bout this... i can still drag the dead members to gatherings...

ok... so wat is there to do at MV besides shopping? bowling is pricy and it's so dark there i dun think i can see where i aim... good thing for DD though... hahaha

there's the movies too... but i'll pass on tat...

i really really reallly (100x) need all your opinion on this!!!
those who wants to go to MV, please show ur support and give suggestions on wat we can do there

those who don't want to go to MV and prefer another location *coughs*1U*coughs*
please voice it out here!!!

I NEED YOUR VIEWS TO GET THIS MOVING!!!!

Me, I am happy to settle for quiet gathering and normal discussion.

Food court, then just a normal talk.

Can't we have gatherings @ members house or where ever is convinient for every one? In Perth people mostly have large anime traiding @ LAN parties, some LANs are only deticated to anime trading.

i agree with stormy...
MV too crowded..
1U and the curve too far...
pyramid too... uhhh.. boring...
Sg. wang... ultra crowded.. (besides, how the hell r we going to talk in such crowded + noisy places)

maybe in a park... recreational center.. a food court is the best choice (can eat and talk at the same time..)

If we could, we'd have anime watching sessions frequently... We also stay quite a distance apart. (in terms of getting to 1 place to the other. No car = hassle)
And I don't think members are intrested in carting hardware with them to wherever the venue is...

Yup, it's enough hassle getting our bodies to the meeting zone, much less dragging our PCs along and all... Shocked

Well, depending on what your translation of convenient is, accessibility is easy. It's just the amount of travel needed to get there that's the problem. (You might need to take a few combinations of trains/busses to a specific location, but would you want to do it?)

We do practice car pooling... the problem surfaces when there isn't ENOUGH qualified drivers with cars to their name attending the event. Or living too far apart to make car pooling unreasonable.
(I have to admit, we only have a small pool of active members. Just look around and you'll see.)
Like me, I regularly hitch with either 1 of the 2 members who go to the gatherings that stay close by.
