:3 okay I don’t see this wonderful manga/ animation given much “light” xD
Am just gonna copy & paste the Skip Beat summary from Wiki:

Skip-Beat! follows the story of Kyoko Mogami, a sixteen year-old girl who loves her childhood friend, Sho Fuwa (Shotaro), but is cruelly betrayed by him. Having spent a lot of time at Shotaro's parents' inn she learned a great deal about hostelry and other such jobs. Shotaro, not wishing to take over his parents' inn, moves to Tokyo to pursue a career in music.
Sho, as he is called by his fans, asks Kyoko to leave high school and her life in Kyoto Prefecture behind to help him. Upon arrival in Tokyo, Kyoko lives an unreasonably frugal life, spending nothing on herself and doing whatever she can for the freeloading Sho, who eventually becomes ranked seventh in the top twenty most popular entertainers of Japan. One day, she overhears Shotaro complaining about her to his manager, saying that she is a boring and plain girl. He then proceeds to sweet-talk and flirt with his manager, in stark contrast to the cold and demanding attitude he usually exhibits towards Kyoko.
Kyoko doesn't shed many tears when she learns that Sho thinks she's only good for housekeeping. Instead, her "Pandora's box" opens and she vows vengeance on Sho. As she is carried away by security, Sho mockingly tells her that if she wants revenge, she had better become a bigger star than him. And so, Kyoko changes her appearance and enters the entertainment industry, facing many challenges along the way.
Skip Beat! follows Kyoko's journey to climb the showbiz ladder as she meets interesting people, troublemakers and friends alike, with hopes of getting revenge on Shotaro, as well as regaining the sense of compassion that she had lost when her heart was broken by him. As Kyoko cultivates her acting and friendships, she soon discovers a sense of self totally separate from her initial plans for revenge.

Anyway huge portion of the story focuses on Kyoko’s journey of becoming an established actress and the relationship between her, Ren and Shou.
Nevertheless, I wanna highlight the funny part in chapter 156 – 157! It made me laugh so much XD XD XD

Okay so we have Kyoko who was ‘caught’ in Rory’s plan. Honestly, I don’t know what the President planned (Rory is the president of the talent agency). From what I understand, Ren is to assume a ‘dark’ role in which he portrays a character/ person with a cool demeanor. And this role is not the ‘normal’ role. The agency created this image of Cain Heel (the dark personality) and as a promotional tactic for the movie, Ren who portrays Cain is to wander around in the street to attract attention and be part of the publicity.
However most people would not be able to recognize Ren (as the actor) due to the ‘gothic’ and dark look he was given. Better yet, Kyoko got entangled into the publicity and was given the role of Setsu Heel – Cain’s younger sister’s role. Setsu Heel has a brother complex (so does the brother) and below is a part where Cain brought his sister to shop in a boutique (in reality, Ren likes Kyoko and he couldn’t stand her very much ‘exposed outfit’ that was given by the make up artist :p).

Just to note… Kyoko thought about it long and hard and noticed that Setsu’s role should show more ‘emotion’. And she wanted to know how Ren will respond to her character, thus the funny scene below XD

Anyway in the end Kyoko found the stuffs she wanted and her ‘brother’ – Cain bought it for her.

*rotfl* omg it’s just so funny!!!!!!!!
