9th Anniversary of AM, how's everyone doing?

It has been (almost if not 2010) 9 years since Anime Malaysia founded by Chihiro CHIDORI  @ Yahoo Clubs (wonder she is still here).

I was thinking that maybe we can have a gathering on January at KL around Times Square or somewhere with lots of anime related shops.

For anyone still alive let's post up what has been happening and what is your most expected anime in 2010 

In RL, Finally saved the $$ to do my degree studies now whacking my hons degree.(back to hit the books)

My expected List:
Index Season 2 (now showing railgun tho)
Shakugan no Shana S(?)
Hayate 3rd Season
Haruhi Suzumiya the 3rd
and more...

i'll be at KL at this friday 15th jan

1st stop KLCC for some manga and some japanese junk foods (CALPIS!)
2nd stop time square's XLshop and see if got something i want.
3rd stop LOW YATT for lots of quality DVD-Rs (100yrs standard ones)

Expected anime 2010...

For me I guess it's only 2:

DANCE IN THE VAMPIRE BUND
DURARARA!! (DRRR!!)

I saw an image of Seikon no Qwaser and it looks interesting. But when I read the sypnosis... I think I'll pass on it. The main character reminds of me Allen Walker tho.

Seriously, even 2009's Pandora Hearts and 07 Ghosts also I havent watched

been on a healthy eating diet... gives me the weirdest cravings.

as for expected anime of 2010 all i have to say is "If Shock got download means I'll watch" Hahaha sorry am not that much of a Otaku.

So shall we set a date and attendance list since we already know where we're going? I suggest Sunday as some of u work Saturdays. Owh and pls cross out 24th Jan, I already have plans on that day.

Hey hey hi Cloud......saw your announcement in my email...really has been a long time...9 years....!!! Since the yahoo club. Haha you still remember. BTW, this is CHIDORI here, not chihiro!!!! I re-registered this username as Kumiko the last time you resetting the site, luckily the account still active, otherwise can't get into this thread haha. I tried creating new account with the username "Chidori" also can't coz cannot use hotmail to register and that's the only email account that i have since last time.....

BTW how's everyone? Saw you and Xell all still so active, that's very good!!!!! As the original founder I never come in since sooooo long I feel very paiseh....still remember last time still young and gung ho, whole day non-stop 'yahoo'ed (now no more yahoo, use google) all Malaysians who were interested in anime and manga through yahoo groups and invited them!!!! Haha. Now walk here and there, everywhere also there's an anime/manga fan. Fan clubs so many, no shortage of them.

Anyway, good thing ya guys having a gathering, keep up the good work Cloud and everyone!!!! =D Too bad I can't join ya guys, in Batu Pahat studying haha. Maybe next time if got fate. =P

A gathering on January, not a bad ideal.
How about 30 Jan (Saturday), because it is a holiday. In KL, Selangor, Johor and etc.

xell>> hmmm aoi's going bac so fast... I think DD will only be back somewhere before/ after CNY? (as per my last conversation with him before he flew off). He told me - if he go bac right after project, it'll be somewhere near CNY. If he lingers around, it'll be after CNY. So all in all, it'll be in Feb.

Shock can msg DD and check with him! But January gathering seems rather far-fetched for him

30 Jan is "Thaipusam". Only some state is holiday.

Oooh icic... i received yet another useless calender. This year (still 2009) I m using a calender that's universal. It's so universal that no public holiday is stated on the calender (not even New Year!). My life was miserable. i nearly went to work when it's supposed to be a PH.

Then for the 2010 calender - it doesn't show state holidays =___=||| i have to get my own "normal" calender.

So how? Based on the dates that we have - there's 10th, 17th, 30th and 31st?

omg i just realised that was 6 years ago, how time flies

yes yes i remember back then, not many anime/manga fans, n even worse, when mention the word "cosplay" u get blank looks
n parents these days are so open, i had to hide my cosplay activities from my dad back then
n DD had to intro us to his parents by our real names n that we won't kidnap him also
