Erm... Misunderstanding caused by your yaoi influences I believe. Let's "connect the dots": I have transport problems, Piano intends to go after work. Where does Piano work again? (on the assumption he hasn't changed jobs since the last time we met)

Well just so you know, I will be going straight from Kota Kemuning on Saturday and after that I will be going to Subang Jaya. If you're looking for a ride, I can drop you or pick you up at a KTM/LRT station. Your best bet is calling me since it's already Friday. I'm going at 3pm after work (just in time for the Q & A session) and will leave when I finished seeing whatever needs to be seen or bought what needs to be bought or am just feeling bored.

Okay...so I went there. Overall, while I think it was one of the better anime conventions, I think there is still room for improvement.
The Good 1. The venue is excellent and the facilities are great and feel professional. 2. Bringing a guest artiste is a brilliant idea. 3. Bringing a vendor from Singapore is a good idea.
Room for improvement 1. Punctuality. Yes we can argue to the cows come home that lateness is part of Malaysian culture but having been to an anime convention recently in Singapore, when they said that the artiste was coming at 8pm, the artiste was on stage at 8pm sharp. The Q & A session was 40 minutes late! 2. It would be a good idea to bring more anime vendors from Singapore - one is definitely insufficient. In Singapore, almost every shopping mall has a shop that deals with anime/manga merchandise and there is no lack of such vendors. Perhaps, they could bring one that deals with figurines, one with anime DVDs, one that deals with manga (they can always bring those manga that are published by Chuang Yi publishing that is only available in Singapore). 3. It doesn't cost a lot to set up an anime viewing room. I'm supportive of cosplaying but not all of us here may think that should be the main focus of a anime convention and for some of us who are not so inclined, we might be happier popping to an anime viewing room to check the latest from Japan. 4. They really need to consider doing anime competitions (anime trivia, guess the theme song, etc)- perhaps small prizes like vouchers from anime vendors.
