Guys, girls, anyone here who simply loves the english series? Just to name a few, Criminal Minds, Ugly Betty, Las Vegas, Nip/ Tuck, Grey's Anatomy, Lost, Prison Break, Heroes, Desperate Housewives, Boston Legal, CSI, Charmed, Supernatural, Dawson's Creek, One Tree Hill and so many more!!!

I gotta say this... remember Beverly Hills 90210? Like, so many years ago! I used to watch that when I was in....... secondary school? Can't remember... But I guess since then i'm not so into English series. More into TVB. Well I catch The Simpsons every now and then whent hey have it. And I got into it again when they played Buffy the Vampire Slayer on TV... also get to catch Ally McBeal once in a while on TV. Oh, I do watch Charmed which was screened every Friday night last time...

But these series just got better and better. I started to pick them end of last year... It started with Heroes. All my friends in Perth just wouldn't stop teasing me when I said I have not heard about it before. They said it's d best thing you get around series. naturally, when I got back to Malaysia, I picked up the series when I saw it in the night market (of course la, dunno nice or not... i merely buy the *hem* version first!). And since then I watched it non-stop. I think a marathon sounds fitting. When I saw the Original version (Heroes), I bought it without hesitation. It's THAT good.

Enough said, apart from heroes, I'm that into the others... not when my colleague brought her Prison Break to work and I borrowed it from her. Since then I'm hooked over it. Wentworth Miller? Think I cheered and screamed at nearly all his scenes (and yes, that means pretty much throughout the whole series, ain't it? lol). So now I've bought Ugly Betty and Heroes 2 (eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee my player can't play the DVD, geraaaaam!!!). Well not to forget all three season of Prison Break. Oh yes, I also have all 5 seasons of Ally McBeal. Unfinished.

Next I'm all fired up to buy............ let's see. House, Nip/ Tuck, and The L word (no, I'm not).

I started the topic so we could talk about out first experience with these series and also discuss la~ of your favourite series, comments etc.

I didn't get to catch much of the re-broadcast Emmy but my wait paid off to see Josh Groban (droooooooling once again) sing all 30 songs. It started with The Simpsons and ends with Cheers. In between we get Friends, Baywatch, South Park, X-Files, Law & Order, Fresh Prince of Bel Air etc etc. Its super good. Josh Groban is - as far as we know, a serious person. Gosh to see him sing like that is like seeing another part of him, and I like that. Watch it in da link beeeelooooow:

Thumbs up to MacGyver.

Quoting the Mythbusters on Discovery Channel who replicated some of the things he did (and found that while its backed by real science, it has been massively overexaggerated),
"he could build a particle accelerator out of nothing but packing tape and old underwear"
That really got me going. Grin

i know, it's like back to those days, MacGyver's AWESOME!!!!!

but now, if you compare it to MI, or Heroes or even 24 etc MG doesn't pose an attraction anymore ;____;

Instead of the usual Rambo style massacre-your-way-out style. lol

It still depends... I'm more of a science freak so MacGyver remains special to me. Grin
