Mine will be Shingeshutan Tsukihime. Perfect music, perfect arrangement of scenes, very atmospheric and moody. The best OP I ever seen, until now.
Second will be Gunslinger Girl. Superb song, very dreamy yet dark. It really enchance the mood of the anime.

My personal favourite best anime opening is "Pure Snow" from Himiko Den. The music & animation really fits each other. And there's Yuuko Sasaki divinely voice too. Too bad the anime kinda suck though.

"Tori no Uta" is such a nice song, and the art's great, it brings out the whole mysterious feel of the anime

i like the OP for Record of Lodoss War. very good cordination of music with the opening scenes...gives me alot of goosebumps just watching it
another fav of mine is FRUIT BASKET!! hohohohoho

I have cut down some of the Anime op and make it into a DVD-R.
In that DVD-R Video has aroung 120 Anime OP.
Anyone like to have it ? Just PM me your address. I will post it.
or you can borrow fron Batts or Reen. They have one copy of it.

hikaru no go's Everlasting Snow - latest opening song is super!
last but not least is inuyasha's One Day One Dream opening song by Tackey and Tsubasa!
